Yang Wenming, male, ethnic Han, born in May 1954, native of Hedong,Tianjin, began working in August 1970, joined the Communist Party of China (CPC) in October 1974, graduated from the Philosophy Department of Peking University and obtained a master’s degree from Party School of the Central Committee of C.P.C.
Aug. 1978 to Nov.1983, Mr. Yang worked as an editor in the Editorial Office of Communication Front of the Department of Politics and an officer of the Theoretical Education Division of the Propaganda Department of the Ministry of Communication.
Nov.1983 to Jun.1999, he worked as deputy director of the Investigation and Research Division of Research Office, director of the Office of Party and Political Foreign Affairs Cadre Bureau, director of the Intellectual Work Division of Cadres Education Bureau, investigator at deputy bureau level of the Cadres Allocation Bureau and head of the Office with Reference to Trial Public Servant System in the Organization Department of the Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party (Sep. 1997— Jun. 1999, Taking a temporary post of deputy secretary of the CPC Zhangjiakou Municipal Committee in Hebei Province).
